The Canada Contemporary & Diverse Artists Association (CACDA) Officially Established in Vancouver

May 2025 The Canada Contemporary & Diverse Artists Association (CACDA) has been officially registered and established in Vancouver, marking a historic milestone in the advancement of multicultural arts in Canada. The association is dedicated to promoting artistic expression and cultural exchange across diverse backgrounds, building a cross-cultural platform that unites creative voices from various communities. CACDA aims to contribute the power of art to the global pursuit of cultural harmony and peaceful development.

As one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, Vancouver is home to people from over 180 countries and more than 100 languages. Born in this dynamic environment, CACDA seeks to make art a bridge for interethnic dialogue, community inclusion, and shared values.

The Tsawwassen Art Center, located inside Tsawwassen Mills, will serve as the associations main venue. Situated in Delta, British Columbia, Tsawwassen Mills is one of the largest and most popular enclosed shopping centers in the Greater Vancouver area. With over 1.1 million square feet of retail space and more than 200 brand-name outlets, fashion boutiques, discount stores, food courts, and entertainment facilities, the mall attracts a large daily flow of both local shoppers and international visitors.

Developed by renowned real estate firm Ivanhoé Cambridge, Tsawwassen Mills officially opened in 2016. Its design integrates natural elements with modern aesthetics, featuring spacious, well-lit corridors and multifunctional public spaces to create a comfortable and convenient shopping experience. Strategically located near Highway 17 and just minutes from the U.S. border, the center offers ample free parking and is highly favored by families and cross-border travelers.

Beyond its retail appeal, Tsawwassen Mills is emerging as a vital hub for cultural and artistic engagement. With the arrival of CACDA, the Tsawwassen Art Center is set to inject new energy into the local and international art scene, drawing greater public attention and fostering meaningful artistic dialogue.

Wen Xinliang, President of CACDA, stated:

We hope to use art as a universal language to share Canadas values of diversity and inclusion with the world, and to ensure immigrant artists are seen, heard, and appreciated by society.

The CACDA official website is now live: www.cacda.art. Artists, educators, cultural organizations, and the general public are warmly invited to follow and participate in our programs. We also welcome partnership inquiries from businesses and media as we work together to advance the thriving development of multicultural arts.
